Congrats, friend. :) xoxoxo!

Ray - November 24, 2010 - 2:37 am

Wow.

Congratulations, Carlos, and for your service and your sacrifice, I say thank you.

Mike G - November 24, 2010 - 9:55 am

Excellent! Well, pull out that email I sent the both of you awhile back when I thought you were retiring the FIRST time. Oh, and the words “proceed to home of selection.” That’s the first and last time you will ever hear that phrase from DoD. Looks like you really have a reason to give Thanks this Thursday. You survived 20 years! Best of luck to all of you as you decide where to go from here. And remember, things are looking up here. Wash DC is no longer the most dangerous city in America, as long as you don’t ride the metro. We already had our worst winter for the next 100 years. And, in about ten years they will finish the road construction and it will only take 45 minutes to drive 8 miles instead of the current 70. So, all in all, I think you all should just embrace the little hamlet we call West Springfield, and make it your own. Ha! Yeah, right.
Thanks for including me in your good news.

Happy Thanksgiving!

:) …proceed to home of selection… I really meant what I said, I see good things in your future! Thank you again for everything, and especially your friendship.

Adrienne

I first met Adrienne when she was just a toddler, way back in the day when my then-boyfriend was in UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) with her Daddy. The class graduated and scattered; fast forward 15 years that seemed like 5 and suddenly Adrienne is all grown up! We spend a chilly fall morning at Burke Lake Park catching up and capturing her senior portraits. Adrienne, congratulations on your LaCrosse scholarship, Carlos and I wish you the very best!

Wow, great pictures Christine as usual. I remember Adrienne vividly as a blond-haired toddler running amok around Columbus AFB in 1995-1996. She’s all grown up now. Congrats Adrienne.

Yes, my sister-in-law is very talented, but having a great looking couple to shoot doesn’t hurt. Christine, excellent photos as always (liked the train tracks & big oak). Oh Lynn, be careful what you wish for, hahahahahahahha! Kidding
