Deepali is the second eldest of six children. When she was 14, she enrolled in a photography class. She wore braces, prescription eyeglasses and was the only female student in a room full of teenage boys. She handled herself beautifully. I know all this because I was their instructor. Deepali never missed a class and got an A on her final exam (although she tells me she’s since lost the Holga!)
Now she’s wrapping up high school and coming into her own as a strikingly confident young woman.

It’s rare that my family tolerates anything weightier than my Holga on vacation. At first they resisted (out of habit?) but I persisted.

..Girl you are AMAZING..I have been to Puerto Rico three times and I love the color, texture and then you add two beautiful, sweet kids.

wow. that’s some low-tech, hi-tech. :O) have fun!
Way back in the day when I was just starting out with a camera and an idea, Mat & Sara brought me their beautiful baby girl; now that baby is 4 and comes with a little brother in tow!
We met in Old Town on a very chilly and early morning, and kept dipping in and out of Starbucks to sip coffee and warm up.
Take lots of pictures, they grow so fast.

oh i love them! wow mom looks great after only having a kid a week ago! totally want to pick your brain on your M.O. for newborn pix. i’m always worried about them being cold.
My first spring day on a par-3 course after a L O N G winter, paired up with two men (one of whom is a Real Golfer), and I start my season with this shot:

nice shot!! i’ve never played golf outside of putt-putt. Actually I take that back. In high school at PE we went to a driving range, the birdie I hit was actually flying by at the time… not so good.

Bridget grew up a Notre Dame legacy, and now she’s about to graduate from her father’s alma mater. One of her animated and lovely roommates is sitting to camera left as we shot, we had a great time bringing out the bubbly in her personality.
