Wow…that’s a really great blend there. And the juxtaposition of the delicate ballet image and the stone is a great choice. Great job!

Definitely make a print/big poster for the studio where she dances! Dancers LOVE photos of themselves. That would be a great opportunity!!!! And so cool where it comes out looking artsy, so much you could do with it, whole series for the whole school… I really love it. (My 5 year old niece takes ballet, that’s her on my blog title, it would be so great to do a ballet series with textures!) thanks for the link, will check it out.

I’ve tried playing around with textures a little bit, but havent been able to get good results!
This has inspired me to go play some more with them!

thank you! it was a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to trying it on more, and even going out to shoot with the intent to add texture later.

Lisa, your niece is adorable! I ended up trying VistaPrint.com for the postcards, I’ve never used them before but they’re running a special and I got the whole order for just shipping charges! I’m excited to see how they turn out because if the print quality is great, I will have lots more postcards of different images made (the company I used before was way more expensive.)
